x6 ultrabase question

Will the x6 ultrabase fit the x61, x61s, and the x61t?
the first two for sure i know

Can the X6 ultrabase be run off battery power?

Since the X6 Ultrabase is sold with the X61 tablet, I think it is compatible. I bought one, so I do hope it is compatible... 
It has a "power passthru" which allows it to charge the computer, or conversely for the computer to power it. With an ultrabay battery, it can power the computer.

The tablet X6 ultrabase (41U3120) has a different product number from the regular X6 ultrabase (40Y8116), so my guess would be that they are not the same thing and not interchangeable.

I have an X6 that I purchased for my X60s. When attached, it can run off the X60s' internal battery, which comes in handy for watching DVDs when traveling.smoothoperator wrote:Can the X6 ultrabase be run off battery power?

I just ordered a X61 tablet w/ ultrabase and the sales rep said they are indeed different. The tablet ultrabase doesn't work with the X61/X61s.
