x61 with 2.0ghz or x61s for slim factor

I had a x60t and know what 1.3 inches is like.
I am comtemplating on either a x61 with 2.0ghz or a x61s for the thinness.
I have two questions -
Is there a huge jump in everyday performance from UV 1.4ghz to 2.0ghz?
Also is the .3 inch difference from the x61s and x61 thickness noticeable? I've seen some pictures and they are hard to tell apart.

Well, first of all I believe the 2.0ghz model is a typo - so far as I can see there are only 1.4ghz and 1.6ghz models atm. As far as every day performance, I don't think you will notice much difference due to the fact that a majority of the time your core is speed-stepped down to it's lowest frequency and is sitting idle anyways.
As far as the thickness, 0.3 inches is a lot, in my opinion - almost 1 cm. If I ever manage to get an X6-series machine I will get the s model.

Why is 2.0Ghz for a X61 a typo?
I saw a 2.2Ghz option on X61 just while ago.
Yes, on everyday tasks, you won't see any significant improvement, but you will defiantly feel it's lighter on X61s rather than X61.
