X6x dock outlook

A few questions about the future of stationary docks with expansion slot for X6x:

Lenovo has a "clearance sale" on both the X4x dock and the ThinkPad II dock. So, I assume this means they are going away. Does anyone know? Are these being replaced with say an X6 dock?

Lenovo also offers a ThinkPad Advanced Dock, but this says nothing about compatibility with X6x. It references only T60 and Z60 models. Does anyone know if this works with X6x?

The advanced dock will not work with an X60/X61.

As for the X4 dock and the ThinkPad II dock, I think these are just going out of production as they are made for models no longer being sold.
