Motion LE1700 also has an 12.1" SXGA+ screen with the so called View Anywhere technology. How is that compared with the Superview on X61t?

LE1700 is more expensive than X61t, but with lower configurations, is it because the former is a slate and the later is a convertible? I think a slate is really cool. Will Lenovo produce slate tablets in the future?

Motion Computing tends to cater for "vertical markets," being education, government, healthcare, etc... they can justify charging more.

I don't see Lenovo producing slate tablets, but you never know... they've definitely not announced anything. I'd not wait for it.

I just found an x61, sxga, ultrabase, 2 gig ram, etc... on costcentral IN STOCK. I ordered the overnight shipping and I already have my tracking number.

Screw lenovo. They emailed me today saying that the screen was on a 4 week back order. Just RIDICULOUS. This after 4-5 string-along, almost-there reassurances. I canceled. I am going to be making sure a few of my hardware/software site reviewer contacts hear ALL about this.

They only have one particular model with some in stock (27 left as of now), but I went for it. It cost me a little more because I got an ultrabase, but overall same price-per-feature.

If I'm not mistaken that Motion tablet also has a full touch screen at the SXGA+ resolution. That would make it more expensive.
