Hi all,

Recieved my x61 recently, and have installed nhc as i have become used to seeing temp and cpu speed. Cpu speed seems to be fixed at 2ghz..sometimes 1.98 or so. The notebook is set on adaptive cpu, but never seems to slow down. Is this an issue with nhc reporting cpu speeds or is the computer not slowing down at all?

also having restart issues with error locating operating system after doing a clean install of vista business. Anyone else having such issues?

I installed NHC when I first got my X60s but shortly uninstalled it because I found it was interfering with the Thinkvantage power profiles. It sounds like it may be doing the same to you?

I also like having the CPU temperature in the taskbar, but I figured it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to get the thinkvantage power profiles to work properly.

Well it seems the booting error was fixed with a bcd patch update from lenovo.

I have done another clean install, and checking the cpu speed under properties of my computer reveals it is still running at 2ghz. even with the processor set to lowest speed

Anyone else experiencing similar problems?
