X61 WWAN MC5725 Verizon Rev A - Enable use of VzManager

I downloaded the following for Lenovo x61s with embedded Verizon (MC5725 revA). Installation hung during driver installation (and may have corrupted system). I don't suggest installing this software for this device.

You can download 3G Watcher from the following link. I do not know if it is compatible with the MC 8775 Embedded Module or not. I do not see any documentation on Sierra Wireless's site for embedded module software downloads.

I've contacted Sierra about which 3G Watcher is compatible but they said I should ask Lenovo.
