Need help from anyone with a X61

New X61 (2.0 GHz, 3 GB, 7K200, 4965AGN and Vista Business) now running.

In my opinion, the noise at fan level 2 (as set by tpfancontrol) is very, very low (I think it's about 3200 rpm). Level 4 (3400 rpm) is OK in an office environment but noticeable in a quiet room. Level 6 is similar to the X31 fan (pretty loud).
