Dual extern screen ?

#1 Post by dweis » Wed Jul 18, 2007 5:12 am

By looking theses pictures http://www.tpuser.idv.tw/articles/santarosa-test-4.html, I'm wondering if, with the X6, it is possible to have a dual screen on two external screens ?

And a detail : with the X6, one can power on the laptop without opening it ?

thanks

It doesn't look like the laptop is connected to the two screens. In addition, it's not shown driving both screens. Without using some sort of second connector via USB or PCMCIA, I don't think you can use the X6x to drive two monitors.

You can look into Matrox's external vga splitter solutions like dualhead2go which would let you do what you're asking (assuming the X6x can handle the resolution).
