Help! Limited connectivity problem

#1 Post by gongo » Sun Jul 22, 2007 12:05 pm

So I'm on a x61T with windows vista business. I updated bitcomet and it game me this message that it needed to change my TCPIP.SYS or something like that. Basically I have no idea what it did and now I cant connect to the internet wirelessly. I had no idea what happened so I did a system restore and still have the problem. I don't know anything about networking or what TCPIP means.. any help?

basically I can plug in a hardline and be connected but I only get limited connectivity with the wireless. and my brother's on wireless on the same network so it's not a router problem (maybe)

Why are you using bitcomet when utorrent is such a better program?
Unless something changed recently, most trackers have banned its use

try dial-a-fix

I've read of people producing good results using the program to fix problems with adjusting the windows tcp/ip stack/winsock problems
