Backup Recovery Restore Location?

#1 Post by tinman1412 » Wed Jul 25, 2007 4:53 pm

I got a prompt that a restore recovery backup was needed to be run so I selected "yes". This took away 15GB of my hard drive. I cannot find this backup anywhere. Can someone tell me how I can delete or undo this to free up my hard drive again. I tried to do a System Restore and it failed for some reason.

Backups are stored in the System Volume Information folder in the root of the drive if you really want to know, but don't mess with it directly. Use instructions from getlow's link instead.
