512Mb RAM option is no more

I checked the Lenovo site this morning to see what the new sale would be (if any at all). Seems to be the same discount on X-series machines, only this time no discounted HD upgrades, but a discounted DVD burner upgrade (Hello, lenovo?) which doesn't seem to be taken into account when selecting a burner for your ultrabase anyways (Hello, again).
More to the point, the base price of the X61/s machines seems to have increased $20. After poking around this appears to be due to the fact that the 512Mb RAM option has been removed and the default choice is 1Gb (2x512Mb) RAM. Lenovo was nice though and made the "upgrade" to 1Gb (1x1Gb stick) $0.
It sucks for those of us who wish to purchase RAM and install it on our own for cheaper, but at least they didn't stick us with the 2x512Mb sticks.
