I was unable to find an answer for that. Even the distributor was unable to tell me for 100%. And Checking Lenovo's site for European models none specified it has memory card reade. Is it standard for all models? I really need that and don't want to use the PC Card slot for that purpose, I want it internal.

Yes, it's standard. And reasonably speedy, too, compared to the X60/X60s version -- I'm using mine for ReadyBoost with a 2 GB 150x SD card.
X220 (4287-2W5, Windows 8 Pro) / X31 (2672-CXU, XP Pro) / X61s (7668-CTO, Windows 8 Pro)

Can you actually tell the difference? I only have a regular speed 1GB Sandisk SD card.
