So anyone get any 2GB modules to work properly with the X61 yet?
I plan on putting in 4gb into my machine using Ultimate. (Yes i know there will be a "loss" of memory). I have the tablet model.

Any standard 667 MHz DDR2 SO-DIMM modules will work in the X61. Personally I'd pay the few extra dollars to make sure the memory models are good quality and well tested.

Eh i would of said that myself.
But the top tier brands aren't saying much to the point where they don't have any recommendations over 1GB modules.
And i ran across a mid-grade brand that was trying to figure out why one of their modules wouldn't work with a x61.

Hmmm, now I'm confused. So you want to know which brands have been known to work in an X61? Or something else?

My second module is a Hynix, no problems with it.
