Extra noise when opening x61 Tablet (SEE EDIT 2)

Tonight all of a sudden my laptop started making an extra little noise when I open it (like a thud type noise.. not a computer beep or something from the speakers).

Like, after the click from releasing the latch, when I start to open it up at about .5 - 1 inches from closed it makes another noise.

Any idea what is causing it? I took my battery out to make sure nothing was hitting that or anything and it still made it when the bat. was out.

It's worrying me..

EDIT: actually it's not just when I'm opening it. Anytime I start to move it back it makes the noise. like if it's open and I move it forward a little (towards closing) and then start to move it back then it makes the noise too. It sounds like it might be coming from the swivel thing (whatever you call it).

EDIT 2: Okay, I think I see the problem now. It looks like when opening my laptop, the screen becomes disconnected from the plastic (or w/e material they are) black part at the bottom. I really do not like this. I have no idea how it could have happened because I have only had this a week and have been taking good care of it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do you think lenovo would replace or fix it?
