Problems with X61s and Logitech BT mouse

#1 Post by sgmidf » Sun Aug 26, 2007 2:37 pm

I have an X61s running Vista Ultimate with the Thinkpad Bluetooth radio. I bought a Logitech V270 BT mouse that works fine when I boot up. If the computer wakes up from sleep, it no longer recognizes the mouse without rebooting. It shows no BT driver when I got to device manager at that time.

I don't know if this is a Windows or Thinkpad problem. I haven't install the Logitech setpoint software as I only want the basic mouse features. Can anyone help. If this is the wrong forum, please point me to the correct one.
Thanks,

Steve

I've a similar problem with my Microsoft Notebook Presenter mouse - it's not always after resuming from sleep mode but sometimes. I don't have to reboot, switching bluetooth off and again on "fixes" the problem.

I discovered that "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" was checked in the power properties in device manager for "Thinkpad Bluetooth with EDR". I've unchecked this and things seem better. Who knows......

I have had this same issue, I have to CTRL f5 disable bluetooth and then re-enable. Works 80% of the time.
