Best Memory For X61 Tablet

#1 Post by k2canezsd » Tue Aug 28, 2007 5:00 am

Hey guys, I tried searching but didn't really get what I wanted.

I want to purchase the best 2GB memory chip for my X61 tablet.

I have 2GB right now in 1 slot and want to purchase the other 2GB for 4GB total.

The only manufacturer of memory that I really know of is crucial.com and they don't have an option for the X61 tablets (only the X60 tablets).

Recommendations on the best manufacturer and some great deals would be greatly appreciated.

I should pretty much just be looking for
2GB PC2-5300 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM SODIMM Memory specifications when purchasing, correct?

Thanks. =)

It won't make any difference as long as it's PC2-5300 667MHz DDR2 SODIMM. X61t uses the same specification.

NO SDRAM, just SODIMM.

Kingston and Corsair would be considered top brands as well. I've always good luck with off brand memory which will be much less expensive. Worst case is it won't work and you'll just have to get a different one.
