Hello,
I just did get a X60t and I am searching now ACPI Files for NHC. Does anyone has created some or does anybody know if I can use files from other thinkpad models?

Does anybody use nhc with the X60t and can tell me his voltage? I got a L2500 Core Duo 1.83GHz

Thank you very much

I have installed NHC on my X60T, cause I had very good experience with it on my previous NB (Vaio A217M), but removed it on the X60 after some trying. Don't know wich ACPI-files you mean, the new (vista-capable) version of NHC runs flawlessly with the X60T, but in my opinion you gain not much on using it. OK - perhaps you mean controling the fan-speed - but this is also possible with a freeware tool, developed for some older TP - have forgotten the name.

The real disadvantage on using NHC on the X60 is in my opinion, that you lose some really neat features of the thinkvantage power-manager, particulary the option to load the battery only when a curtain battery-leval (50% for example) is reached, or to load the battery only to a curtain level. This can increase battery-lifecycle considerable. But perhaps it is possible to combine both somehow.

The most usefull voltage-seting for me is for the lowest multiplyer, wich is allready set by factory to 0.95V - the lowest possible setting.

But I'am also interested in long-term experience with NHC/X60T from other users, perhaps it is only a term of correct tweaking.
