Generic intel 4965 Draft N card in x60s

#1 Post by Yandar » Mon Sep 03, 2007 4:44 pm

the title says it all.

Would a generic Intel Draft N card work without generating a 1802 error and work correctly with Access Connections.

Thank you.

Generic WiFi cards alway result in the 1802 error. The only workaround is the 1802 patch. If the 1082 fix will work on a X6x, I am not sure. There have been reports that it doesn't always work on newer systems.

Access Connections requires Lenovo's WiFi driver to work. I am not sure, but I think that a Lenovo WiFi driver might work with a generic card.

no-1802.com does not work on X60s. I tried it myself.
