#1 Post by jamess » Thu Sep 20, 2007 10:59 am

Does anyone know what does that mean and how do I enable that "N" ?

EDIT: I found another topic explaining what N-disabled means, I just need to know HOW and WHEN I can enable the N. I do have leads for 3 antenaes or at least there are 3 antena spots around on the LCD frame...

Some countries Ministry of Telecommunication or whatever the specific name in that country, do not allow radio equipment like N WIFI which work on different frequencies. So I believe Lenovo disables it for them. I have a friend who also came across that thing. I don't know how you could enable it. You could always purchase an N card and install it internally as I did, but I hope there's an easier way of enabling the N
