Hibernation with X60 dock

A while back I had a problem Hibernating after I deleted the hibernation file during a disc cleanup. I do not recall the details of how I deleted the file, but the computer never had the option to hibernate again. Even the few locations I could find the option, it still would not work. Since then I formatted a new drive and installed Vista from recovery discs. Hibernate works again the way it did before.

The new issue now is when I hibernate with the dock attached. When I resume, the computer will boot up normally, from hibernation, but then a few minutes later it hibernates again. It doesn't matter if I'm surfing my email, playing cards, watching a movie, etc. It just goes into hibernation without cause. I resume, and a few minutes later it hibernates again. This continues until I resume, shut down, and reboot. At that point it will stay on normally. This problem only occurs when I have the dock installed.

I'm using an X60 Tablet, with the dock, and hard drive slim bay adaptor. I have not tried this with the 2nd drive removed, since I have no use for the dock without the 2nd drive.

Have you updated your ThinkVantage software lately? I've had similar (though not the same) issues which have been resolved by updating.

I tried but the update center was unavailable. I'll try again now.
