Crash on Remote Desktop file transfer

Upon sending a small file to a computer connected via Remote Desktop on my LAN, the remote computer immediately disconnects, displays a login screen locally and can only be accessed locally.

I have other machines I do this with without a hitch.

All are running XP.

Any ideas?
