Help installing hotkey features in Vista

I've newly installed Windows Vista on my X60s (1704-6DG). I installed most drivers and applications with System Update tool.
But I can't install the hotkey feature. System Update fails and manually installing v2.06.070 which should be vista compatible gives me error message "This program does not support this system."
Help is needed, without the hotkey feature I can't enable Bluetooth, WLAN, WWAN and other stuff.

Just a guess but it could be that you need a bios update or perhaps the most recent wi-fi card driver. If not, then this could be just one of the many Vista related problems.

BIOS is updated to the latest version. I don't think that this problem is hardware related, as the setup stops at a very first stage. It seems to me, that there is some mismatch in a INI file about the expected Windows version and my running German Vista Business. Even though Lenovo claims, that the hotekey feature should be compatible with Vista and all regional versions.

Make sure
Lenovo System Interface Driver is installed in advance.
A newer version of
Hotkey driver (v2.06.0708) is also available, I suggest you install it manually.

Strange things happen here. The especially for Vista designed Lenovo System Interface Driver gives me the exact same error message. "This program does not support this system."
Why is this happening? I'm using a clean install of Windows Vista with all updates for Vista installed.
I'm not sure if it is checking for Vista to be installed or is my X60s meant with "system"? I'm using a 1704-6DG X60s.

I tried a older version of Hotkey. This program gives me a much clearer error message: "This program is only for IBM/Lenovo System".
So for some reason, those tho utilities think my X60s aren't what they are. Maybe because I've installed a full version of Vista (not Lenovo OEM)?

You could`ve 64-bit version of Windows.

No it's 32-bit Vista.
But: I tried for the third time to install Hotkey with System Update now, an this time it worked! Don't ask me why this happend, I din't change anything in my configuration.
Thanks for trying to help, I'm sure, I'll find help here in the future when I have a problem, that is deterministic.
