I've owned my X61t for about 4 weeks now, and I have added the most basic of basic software programs (Blackberry Desktop Software, Office 2007, Efax, etc), and for whatever reason, the boot up time for my computer gets longer and longer. I added CCleaner and it improved dramatically by removing dekstop toolball auto programs that loaded automatically that I did not need.
However, now, it's back to the 4+ minutes to boot my system, and NOW, it's asking me to swipe my finger 2x's to log in, and it's never done that before. UGH!
I ran an Lenovo Update and loaded a few recommended or critical updates to my system but that happened a couple of weeks ago. I'm assuming that when you do those, and they download, they automatically update the drivers, etc without me needing to do anything further.
Furthermore, when my desktop finally comes up and loads, the screen flashes blank for about 2 seconds and than back on again, which it has done for the past couple weeks.
Does anyone have the same issues, and if so, what did you do or what steps did you take to resolve them. I attempted to call Lenovo Support but was on hold FOREVER.
Any help you have or can provide would be appreciated. Thanks
