Hi there,
I have an X60s with XP and Panda Internet Security 2007. I have been happy but today I ran into a problem. For some reason I was suddenly cut-off the internet and I cannot get the wireless (or even the ethernet) connection to work. Yes, I have checked several times that the hardware switch for the wireless is turned on. The error message I am getting when trying to switch on the wireless says that "the wireless radio is switched off, would you like to turn it on?" (this is a translation of the Finnish message I get). I say yes, but nothing happens (and as I noted, I have also tried the ethernet connection but it doesn't work either). All this happened suddenly when I was working on the computer trying to start configuring my Logitech Harmony 1000 remote control - could it be related to the problem? Anyway, any and all ideas on what to do would be much appreciated!

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it (in addition to taking down the firewall), but unfortunately neither proved to help or solve the problem.ryengineer wrote:Perform Windows System Restore.

I was in touch with Lenovo support and they will be picking the machine up on Monday. It looks like a hardware failure
