X61s and L7700 and Ultralight display???

#1 Post by billyb » Mon Oct 15, 2007 2:05 am

The L7700 option now shows up on the customize page for the X61s, but when it is selected, the display options disappear.

Does anyone know which display ships with the L7700? The regular, or the UltraLight, or is it another type entirely?

Thanks and regards,

BillyB

You'll need to place your order via phone. So call 1-866-96-THINK.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

I just got an X61s with an ultralight and an L7700. You need to call and you may need to insist that it is available.

What is the best way to find out what configurations are available? The tabook has nothing on L7700.

Thanks so much for posting about this being an option. Just to clarify, getting this faster processor shouldn't really affect battery life (because of speedstep and all), right?

Could have a minor effect - but not likely. On battery both will run at 800MHz.
