Are you using Default Color Settings in your Graphics Properties?

I'm wondering if anyone found a good Contrast/Brightness/RBG Color Setup which is better than the one included as default.

How to deal with lack of color and glare?

edit: sry for confusion, LCD**

Since when is the X61s LED backlit?

It's on a wishlist, that's for sure, but it's still cold cathode from what I understand.

After staring at my screen for MANY hours, they do hurt. Again, this is after a lot of studying at full brightness. Full brightness is really meant for outdoors in sunlight, otherwise I use mid-level brightness and my eyes never bother me.

Good luck

I read that the ultralight option is just that, LED backlighting.

I'm sure that it's not led
if it would be they would give some marketing points
but not a word about that on any of lenovo pages

There was some confusion about this due to the circulation of some incorrect info, starting with a Lenovo employee:

As has already been stated, there is NO LED backlighting option for the X-series, or any other Lenovo notebook.
