wake / power on usb

#1 Post by tian » Sun Oct 21, 2007 12:39 pm

hi there!

i was wondering if there was any way of switching on an x60 via a usb keyboard? (i dont have a docking station at the moment and have to open the lid, press the power button and the close the lid again).

(please note that i am not talking about waking the laptop from sleep/stand by but a "cold boot".)

thanks
tian

Did you try the "Keyboard Customizer Utility"? There is a tab for external keyboard.

hi there,

i'm sure not that the keyboard customizer would do it as the power on usb is independent of the os.

i'll go take a look in any case,

thanks
