Wireless on x61t--B?

I frequent a place called Panera Bread...it's a cafe that offers free Wi-Fi...on the wall, it says it's Wi-Fi is 802.11B, but my intel wireless radio says 4965 AGN...I might not know, but does this mean that I cannot receive the 802.11B? I connect to their Wi-Fi but after about 10 minutes, it kicks me off, and then picks it up again, and continues to do the same thing as long as I am logged in. Anyone know if this would be a factor here?
