Presentation Director keeps crashing

Presentation Director (latest version from System Update) keeps crashing when changing external LCD resolution to 1280*1024.

I reinstalled to whole system and nothing's better It fails with a 'Memory can't be 'read'"-type error.

Is that version total crap or is my X60 going crazy?

My T61 showed up and I tried intalling some applications. Only to find that Vista sucks big time.

Fresh install of XP professional w/ drivers downloaded from the website and almost everything appears to work okay. Presentation director does keep crashing though, have not figured out why. And the really sucky part about it is that if the laptop is in a mode were it is driving my external device (LCD tv or Projector) and presentation director crashes I can't get the "mode" to change back to normal. So I have to uninstall presentation director using my projector or LCD tv and then reboot my T61.

This really sucks !!!!!
