"Active Desktop Recovery"

#1 Post by wshnlc » Wed Oct 31, 2007 11:50 am

I have the X61 Tablet addition and when I put the "Ink Desktop" as my preferred desktop, I can write on my desktop. It will stay active for a while (1day - 4 days) then the desktop goes white and I get an, "Active Desktop Recovery" error. It has a button to "restore" my active desktop but nothing happens. This is very frustrating, does any one know why this occurs and what I can do to prevent it from happening?

A moderator on Microsoft Newsgroup suggests this.

Also look into the following:

"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
