Using Update my system option (ThinkVantage)
Using Update my system option (ThinkVantage)
I have a X61T with XP running. When I do this option, one of the recommended downloads is called "Thinkpad Video Features Intel 945GM GM965". When I agree to do this install, and I restart my computer, it will not start properly and prompts me to start my system in the last known properly working mode. Does anyone know how I can avoid this and get this update to work?
I am not sure what is causing your problem. You can download the driver from the following page and manually install it. Be sure and follow the installation instructions carefully for a successful install.
Display driver (Intel 940GML, 945GM, GL960, GM965 - 950, X3100) for Windows XP, 2000 - ThinkPad
