No longer available for fingerprint on X61T? Or it becomes standard? www.ibm.com doesn't have that option for X61T anymore

I humbly suggest you to use lenovo website instead of IBM's and find a model, look for it's 7 character product number and insert it into the following website:

Enter a product number.

Fingerprint reader is a standard option for tablets in Canada.

This is the one I ordered from US. I am still waiting for it. It's sealed, so seller didn't know about the fingerprint reader. I have to know it, if it doesn't have it, I'll returned it back without open it, if it does have it, I'll keep it.

I looked at both IBM and Lenovo website, I didn't find the correct info. I searched on Google, there is no T7700 1.8GHz LV info on X61T, only have 1.6GHz version.

Type: 7764-CTO
SN: XXXXXXXX

MOD EDIT: Serial number removed for your own sake.

You have ordered a CTO (Customize-to-order) model most likely from an IBM/lenovo reseller/business partner on ebay. The fingerprint reader is included on 7764-CTO model and so is your machine customized with L7700 LV 1.8GHz. Go to lenovo.com you'll see L7700 LV as an option there as well. The reason you didn't find "T7700 1.8GHz LV" for X61 Tablet is because it uses L7700 processor and not T7700.
