Lenovo recommends slower PC-5300 memory. Is the x61s capable of running at the higher rate of PC-6400 memory?

Lenovo spec:
Supports two 200pin PC2-5300 Non-Parity (NP) Double Data Rate Two (DDR2) Technology
Crucial.com notes y
our system will operate at the speed of the slowest module or system component (the "lowest common denominator" effect).

X61s cannot utilize the higher speed of PC2-6400 (800 MHz), it will run at 5300 (667 Mhz) memory speed.

Noob question: If the backplane of the X61t is 800 Mhz as stated on the Lenovo site, can it now be able to use the PC2-6400 memory?

Thinkpad X61 tablet PC is able to use PC2-6400 memory but it won't run at the highest possible speed of the motherboard.

thank you. I think this passage explains it best:
"Even though the Santa Rosa FSB is 800MHZ, the memory controller is set to only run at 533MHZ or 667MHZ."
