X60 RAM

#1 Post by ravi_s » Fri Nov 16, 2007 3:01 pm

I need to buy some memory for my X60 tablet. Can anyone please tell me if the x60 tablet uses the same memory that is used in the x60 (non tablet) - there seem to be some great deals on these at the moment!

I think the best deal, in the US, for memory is Transcend 2GB for $39.99 at Frys.com. It's a single DIMM DDR2 2GB PC5300.

Wow, that's super cheap - thanks for posting. Have you installed this in a Thinkpad? I bought a few sticks of Crucial RAM to upgrade to 2 gig but wow - for that price it might be worth the hassle to go to 3 gig...
