How to remove fingerprint reader (Vista)

Just received my X61 tablet yesterday & am getting persistent User Enrollment windows for the fingerprint reader.
I don't think I want to use this thing, so I'd like to disable it. But any info I can find seems to be based on other software. E.g., one Lenovo page says to run Access IBM. My machine does not have Access IBM. Other instructions seem to be for XP - the X61 comes with Vista Business.
How can I get rid of the fingerprint reader??

Uninstall ThinkVantage Client security Solution, it's probably giving you the prompt to enroll.
If you permanently would like to disable FPR then go to Device Manager in Windows and disable TouchChip Fingerprint Coprocessor under Biometric chip.

User Enrollment just wants your fingerprints. It takes like 2 minutes. You can ignore it after that if you like. I'd still uninstall CSS though. It bugs you about website passwords, etc. but doesn't actually seem to work.

OK... I don't actually have a ThinkVantage Client Security Solution to uninstall in Control Panel > Programs and Features, but there IS a Start menu icon for it - Icon properties says the target is CSSLauncher.exe, but that's not on the control panel list, so how do I uninstall it?
DOH! Never mind - it's on the list as "Client Security Solution".
