Screen Options Not Working

The basic function of right clicking on the screen to get display options does not seem to be working properly. When I right click the screen, the only option I am given is Display Properties. I can no longer select resolution, screen savers, etc. Does anyone know what would cause this to happen?

Would you mind mentioning the version of Windows you're using?
When you click right click, you always need to select "Properties" in Windows XP or "Personalize" in Windows Vista to access the options you're mentioning.

Sorry...I'm using Windows XP Tablet edition
