Display does not dim under battery!!

#1 Post by kookatt » Tue Dec 04, 2007 10:39 am

I have set power scheme in "Power Manager" to "power source optimized" which indicate that the display of X61 should be dimmed to level 2 under battery setting. However, when I unplug my charging cable and let it run on battery power, the screen does not dimmed at all. Any suggestion?

P.S. I have disable "Igfx Tray" and "Persistence" from start up when windows start to prevent screen flicking during startup. Could this be the problem.

I suspect you've set the display brightness in the BIOS as "High".
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
