Differences between XGA MT/MV and SXGA+ and multi-touch tech

#1 Post by nikemen » Sat Dec 08, 2007 9:45 pm

okay, before we all go off and say, not another XGA vs. SXGA+ screen question, hear me out. :-)

I'm thinking of going back to the XGA MT/MV, after having the SXGA+ a few days (yeah, don't know yet what I will do with the beautiful SXGA+ X61t I have, but I'll probably just sell it rather than pay the 15% fee IBM wants) I think I would prefer the MT/MV.

My concern is about the ULTRA CONNECT II ANTENNA function of the SXGA+. Does that mean, the WIFI antennas are better, or is it pre-build for WWAN?

Is there something else about it that makes the SXGA+ better?

And, as for the MT/MV. With the Finger touch, does one always have to AFFECT that little on screen mouse thingy? Say for example I am interested in the optimized screen touching, dragging scroll bars with my finger. Can I just put my finger on the scroll bar and drag the screen? Or, does one have to touch the screen, pull up the little mouse thingy, click the left button, have it hit the scroll bar and THEN drag?

thanks for the response
N

Anyone, how bout the just MT/MV folks about the finger user ability? Does it always required the onscreen mouse thingy?
