I have an X61 with Vista and the Ultradock 6. I often work all day docked with the lid closed.
I often move quickly from home to office (reverse). I can't seem to find the right process to quickly undock and/or redock.
I wish I could just put the machine to sleep. Unlatch it from the dock, and have it remain asleep until I reopen the lid, or redock.
I have had several instances where the machine had the lid closed, when I thought it was asleep, but it was just hanging in my computer bag getting "hot."
Can someone advise? Do I always need to run EasyEject?
Undocking when lid closed Vista. What should the process be?
