Strange Error Message

#1 Post by spasell » Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:53 pm

Anyone ever heard of this or got this message when booting up:

On Screen Display Message Handler has encountered a problem and needs to close...

If so, do you know what causes it and how to fix it? I googled it but there was really not any great information provided.

Also, while booting, I get not the Blue Screen of Death but a light blue screen that flashed pretty fast and says _____delete (missed that 1st part) and then goes on and boots up normally.

any thoughts are very much appreciated!

Any red flagged log entries in the system log from boot time?

No...There are none.

I have run a separate program, Security Task Manager, and found some really unusual programs running. But in answer to the question, there were none.
