Open ThinkVantage System Update and go to Installation History, to remove updates locate them in the Control Panel of Windows, you may note that you might be required to install previous versions of those updates to make your hardware work properly. Look under C:\Program Files\Lenovo for previous versions or under C:\SWTOOLS for factory installed versions.
FYI, Windows Vista also updates your machine regularly.
