I have just noticed a Fn symbol (blue lettering with gray background) in the shape of a key that is sitting in my taskbar.
This has never before appeared. I also noticed that I cannot lock the taskbar..it continues to fade when I move the cursor off of it.
Anyone know why I have this symbol suddenly listed here?
Also, does anyone else use Security Task Manager? I'm curious how you like it and how useful you have found it.
Thanks

Fn symbol is installed by hotkey drivers to enable special hotkey combinations and onscreen display (OSD). It's sudden appearance is not abnormal at all.
"Locking taskbar" is a different function than "autohiding" or fading. Make sure auto-hide is not enabled.
