Please Help with Installing Sierra wireless MC5720

#1 Post by discoy2k » Wed Jan 02, 2008 3:28 pm

hello,
i bought a IBM 39T5664 or 41W1177 EVDO Sierra Wireless MC5720, so it is an IBM card. I have an X60 1706-86U and it only has 1 mini-pci express slot. i removed the wifi card and replaced it with the sierra card and no matter what i try, i can not make the card show up in the device manager? i tried every driver i could find from the wireless providers and from Lenovo. can anyone please help.

thanks in advance!

AFAIK the left slot is reserved for NIC card only.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
