Keyboard light icon

The X60 has green indicators that flash on the bottom of the screen to display volume and other various system messages... I constantly get the keyboard lamplight icon with an X over it flashing on the screen for no apparent reason.

I've restored my X60 from the supplied disks and have experienced this problem both before and after the restore, so I'm sure others have experienced this problem. Does anyone know how to disable this indicator?

It's not normal.

Try to reseat your keyboard.

It shouldn't come up if you uninstall On Screen Display but doing so would also make other OSD's like volume and screen brightness not display, although they would function.
