LOL! I was thinking the same thing when I saw the event broadcast...however I never "tested it"....

I would like to take a look at the LCD in person(mac)...can't wait to see a ThinkPad with LCD backlight!!!

Keep in mind a lot of the phones out there have LCD backlights; so the technology has been around for a while in a smaller scale.

x61s with a 4cell enhanced battery (extends from the bottom an extra ~1/2") fits too. :)
