X61 Max Supported cpu

Does anyone know if the X61 supports max fastest cpu's such as the T7600, T7700,etc... above the 2.2ghz listed on the site?

According to tabook, following processors are supported:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T7250, T7300, T7500, T8100, or T8300 with dual-core, Intel 64 Technology, Enhanced Intel SpeedStep™ technology1, Intel Dynamic Acceleration, Execute Disable Bit, Virtualization Technology, 800MHz bus; T7250: 2MB L2 cache; T7300/T7500: 4MB L2 cache; T8100/T8300: 3MB L2 cache.

Just so to let you know the CPU is soldered onto the system board.

thanks for the heads up. I was planning to take it apart before buying an upgrade.

yea i was just planning to upgrade to Penryn's last week, had a T9500 all picked out... then found out the cpu is soldered on... all my upgrade dreams shattered in an instant :P
