problem with fingerprint user enroll

#1 Post by mayhem_sci » Tue Jan 22, 2008 7:37 pm

anyone has this problem? essentially after i log in i will see the user enrollment window asking me to enrol my fingerprint. if i click cancel i get logged out, if i continue i will be told that the account cannot be enrolled, because it already exists. this happens randomly. at times i can log in successfully after a restart, at times it won't work even after many restarts. i have disabled the login by fingerprint, but really like it as it's convenient when in tablet mode.

NB: not sure whether this is the cause, but my tablet is a company tablet and because of our VPN we have a customised login screen. this means that i cannot log in through fingerprint initially, but can do so when its locked after a period of idling.
