questions about Lenovo X61

Happen to see this forum by chance, so i quickly register an account & quick post a question b4 i can find some time to look back.

need help here~
my model is X61, Vista Home...

i pressed Vantage button...but then i dont know should i install these belows anot..

can some1 advise?? Does it matter i install for 32bit or 64bit? Or which bit is better?

You can't choose that option, basically whatever edition your machine was configured with is the only edition you can have on oem preload from lenovo. Clean install is a different story.

The utilities and softwares you would like to use are the ones you should install from that list. To some folks they may all be useful but for others not so. So I suggest you use them all for a while and learn what they can do and then uninstall those (if required) which you think are not important to you.

I kept my original install for a month or so, just feeling out which programs I actually needed/wanted. Than after I felt like I had a handle on things, I did some reading up on each one and than did a custom RnR reinstall and only reinstalled some of the selected programs from the list.
