Should the screen be the same sharpness from any orientation

#1 Post by nikemen » Tue Feb 05, 2008 7:25 pm

So, I have been using my X61 XGA tablet in portait mode a bit more lately, but the question I have is.

The sharpness when in PT, is different than in Landscape. It seems a bit blurry, almost as if CLEAR TYPE is on while in portrait?

shouldn't it be the same clarity? Why would it be different?

I may be mistaken, but I believe thats due to the orientation of the pixels. I've never seen an LCD not do this when turned at a 90 degree angle, both on a tablet or even a desktop LCD when rotated.
