Clearing the security chip in the latest bios?

#1 Post by Geoffk » Wed Feb 06, 2008 10:03 pm

I have an x60s with the latest bios revision 2.14
I just removed Vista and installed Xp from the recovery cds however to get the security center program to work correctly I need to clear the security chip. the lenovo site says you do this in the bios under security, but in this version of the bios I have I don't see any option anywhere to clear the chip.

any ideas?

"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
